NX Changing the IPW Material Removal to a Different Color for each Tool during Verify

When running 'Tool Path -> Verify ' the out-of-the-box color display is to use the same color for similar tool types. The picture below is what we would expect to see even though numerous tools have been verified on this part. What setting can be made to display each tool path as a different color?

The desired display, below, is to have the cut area for each tool as a different color.

Solution

1. To change the settings for the current NX session set 'File -> Preferences -> Manufacturing -> Visualizaton -> Coloring Method -> Cyclic Colors per Tool' .  This method will only be in effect until NX is shut down. When a new session is started the display will revert back to the default.

To change the default setting whenever NX is restarted set 'File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults -> Manufacturing -> Simulation & Visualization -> IPW Colors -> Coloring Method -> Cyclic Colors per Tool' and restart NX.
