How to map arialn Autocad font to Solid Edge ANSI font.
Solution
Click on 'Application button -> Save As -> Save as Translated'. Set 'Save as type' to dwg or dxf. Click on the 'Options' button and then click on 'Next' until you get to 'Solid Edge to AutoCAD Translation Wizard - Step 5 of 7'. Locate 'seans.ttf, which is the default mapping to Solid Edge ANSI. Here it gets a little tricky to override the Autocad font; you have to click on 'seans.ttf', wait a second and then click again (not a double click). Type 'Arialn.ttf'. This sets the mapping to Solid Edge ANSI. Click on 'Next' until you get to the dialog to 'Create a new configuration file' and click on 'Finish'.
