Tecnomatix Legacy How to set the default XML Editor for Machine Configurator

Editor in Machine Configurator will not stick

Setting the default XML Editor in Machine Configurator does not retain the setting after selecting OK.

Solution

To start the Machine Configurator application, MB3 on Machine Configurator and select
"Run as administrator"



Select File --> Setting  (please see image below)

The "Settings" dialog box is displayed.
Input the location of your XmlNotepad.exe file and Select OK
