When working in Solid Edge Electrical Manager 2019 an error message appears:
"Could not connect to Solid Edge Electrical Manager. Application terminated".
Verify if the Solid Edge Electrical Manager 2019 service is active. If it is stopped then force the restart by selecting the service and then Right-Mouse-Button and choose "Start".
If this service has been set to start automatically then it should start on startup of the machine, however you will need to also check if there is another application using the same port as the Solid Edge Electrical Manager which could be causing the conflict. A good way to check which ports are in use is the following command line reference:
Run the command line as an administrator and type in netstat –ab, and check to see if there is another application using the ports 49901 or 49905.
