NX Why are component names shown enclosed with <> in the ANT?

In the NX Assemblies Navigator the assembly and component names all are enclosed with <>.

Solution

This behavior is a result of NX not being able to resolve the current settings for the Assemblies Preference "Descriptive Part Name Style". For instance - if that preference is set to "Specified Attribute" and Attribute = "DETAILED NAME", if that attribute is unset in the parts, NX will default to display the os filename within <>.
You can toggle Descriptive Part Name Style to "File Name" to clearly demonstrate this. This setting is found in Menu-> Preferences-> Assemblies dialog.
