How do Grids work?

Solution

The Grid command allows you to provide coordinate input to commands as you draw. The x and y coordinates are relative to an origin point that you can position anywhere in the window. You can change the location of the origin point at any time by clicking the Reposition Origin button on the ribbon bar
and then clicking a new position in the window.

As you move the cursor, the horizontal and vertical distance between the cursor position and the origin point is dynamically displayed.
