NX How to move custom symbol by Move Object in NX11.

When moving a custom symbol, user can't select the end point of a custom symbol with the "Point to Point" Motion type in NX11.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Start NX11.
2. Create New Part File.
3. Change Application.(Modeling→Drafting)
4. Create a line with a curve or sketch.
5. Register the created line as a custom symbol.
6. Place the custom symbol you created.
7. Execute move command
8. Set the motion type to "Point to Point" and select the end point of the custom symbol.
It cannot be selected.

Solution

Workaround to move custom symbol by Move Object in NX11:

1. Create a Line/Point on the custom symbol using a snap point to act an anchor.



2. Select Move Object [Point to Point] Option and select the anchor of custom symbol.



3. Select a Snap point as destination to move Custom Symbol to desired location.
