NX X When trying to start AWC within NX getting "Internal Error Memory Access Violation" error.

When trying to start AWC within NX, getting "Internal Error Memory Access Violation" error. See below snap-

Solution

Active work space uses latest browser in NX1202 which renders using OpenGL. This new browser has minimum requirement (> OpenGL 2.0 + extensions) on OpenGL. If it doesn't support this then it crashes. Following information in the syslog shows that the machine that runs NX may be doesn't have good graphics support so it's causing the issue.

Refer the NX hardware (Graphics card) certifications matrix available on GTAC portal. Customer machine's graphics card should be among one of these certified ones. Refer below link –
