Details
The Solid Edge session suddenly does not respond anymore after defining a sketch plane and moving the mouse cursor over the geometry.
Solution
As a workaround, when entering the sketch/profile environment, before moving the mouse cursor over the part geometry deactivate the option (Tools -> Edge Locate -> Silhouettes ]. Then you should be able to continue with creating the profile.
