Solid Edge Solid Edge filename not correctly displayed in tab and title bars

The Solid Edge filename displayed in the tab and title bars is incorrect and does not match the physical filename.  How to fix this?

Solution

The filename being incorrect in the tab and title bar is easy to fix with the following workaround:

1. In Solid Edge open the file
2. In the toolbars select View -> New Window
3. The new window tab has the correct filename
4. Close the incorrectly named tab
5. Save the correctly named tab
6. Close the file
7. Reopen the file 

The tab and title bar filename displays now correctly named going forward.

There is not necessarily a repeatable identifiable root cause for this type of behaviour - sometimes this just happens.   What has happened is that something has occurred when the file was being saved as to the new filename that the attribute within the file storage was then not updated to reflect the new filename.  The workflow provided above forces Solid Edge to rewrite that attribute value to the correct filename and corrects the issue.
