Granted, NX Help / Documentation for 12.0.0 in What's New just has Browse Categories ONLY
(and not a lower "View a topic" section that the NX Help / Documentation 12.0.2 seems to introduce)
Solution
(1) The NX 12.0.2 Help / Documentation software source for the Linux platform:
If the software source is uncompressed (tar) further down the Linux operating system
directory structure, files get truncated.
Perhaps other files of the NX 12.0.2 Help / Documentation software source get truncated as well.
This therefore results in a corrupt software source.
.../splmdocserver/docs_help-12.0.2/dvdrom1202_docs/nxhelp_update1202/NXDOCS/collections/nx/12/nx_help/tdoc/en_US/content/2/
Under this directory are many .xml files.
It appears many of the files are being truncated when the path length reaches 150 characters.
Therefore:
Place the install source to a shorter path on the machine.
For example, extract nxhelp_update1202 into the /tmp directory.
This should leave enough room (directory depth) to see those .xml files under the "2/" sub-directory unpack without being truncated.
