We are running the utility ugtopv.exe -pim=yes -u=infodba -p=xxxx -single_part partname and we are getting the below error:
PVTRANS: *** Error encountered during Translation -> 941048: Unknown Error occurred during Translation
Solution
By running the ugtopv.exe from a command prompt, not all the required Teamcenter and NX variables were being set. The pvtrans/run_ugtopv.bat sets a few, and there should also be some coming from the Teamcenter environment. In this case, it was missing FMS_HOME. Once that was set, it worked fine.
