Are there any known issues running Standard Parts with SQL server 2016? For example, a Customer has Teamcenter running on a 2016 SQL server and would like to setup Standard Parts to use the same SQL server.
The documentation for Solid Edge ST10 Standard Parts only mentions SQL 2012 - there is no reference to later SQL versions certified for ST10 Standard Parts.
Solution
The documented SQL version is a minimum requirement. Standard Parts ST10 will run with SQL 2016.
When you setup the SQL server manually you need to create the SPUser. For the SPUser you manually set the right dbcreator in Server Roles.
In SQL 2016 you will need to check the sysadmin too.
