The Author for new Drawings is not correct after transfering a machine from one person (User 1) to another (User 2) and even the Solid Edge Templates are updated to the new Author - User 2, the former Author (User 1) being overwritten.
Solution
The Author property is a Solid Edge System Property that is tied to the Windows Profile User ID. Therefore this value cannot be changed unless the Windows Profile User ID value is changed.
Disabling or deleting the "User 1" User Profile will resolve the problem.
