Solid Edge Unable to rotate a Drawing View containing break lines

Details

I create a drawing of a part/assembly and define break lines for a Drawing View.  When I open the Drawing View properties and in the 'General' tab try to enter a value into the 'Rotation angle' field it is not applied and remains at '0.00'.  Why?

Solution

This is working as designed.  'Rotation angle' is disabled once break lines are added.  The break lines are not part of the view - they are associative to the view and are used to trim the view.

The workaround is to remove the break lines.  Then rotate the drawing view and use the 'Define Break Axis' button to define the angle at which to break the view.
