Have a NX drawing sheet, which looks as all other NX drawing sheets. When I do:
- File --> Export --> CGM of the drawing sheet the resulting CGM file get a white background despite the current background color being black when viewing the NX drawing part file in NX.
Solution
One of the views on the drawing sheet has Partially Shaded rendering Style. Views with partially shaded and fully shaded rendering style are exported to CGM with white background. In order to export CGM with original background color:
- Select the view with Partially Shaded rendering Style, MB3 --> Settings.
- In Settings Common --> Shading, Format group, change "Rendering Style" from "Partially Shaded" (or Shaded) to "Wireframe".
