Unable to install the Solid Edge 2019 FlexNet License Manager on a Windows 2008 R2 Server.
After copying the "Solid_Edge_DVD_ENGLISH__2019.exe" to the Windows 2008 R2 Server, trying to execute the software, it flashes and then disappears without any messages.
Solution
This could be related to a Windows 2008 R2 blockage issue. Since the file came from another computer it was being blocked from running or executing the Solid Edge install program. If you perform a right mouse click on the Solid Edge ".exe" and select the unblock option the program will execute as it should.
