Summary

Details

Missing the "Sketch Name" drop down list in NX10 and later releases when using
Sketch in Task Enviroment.

Solution

This option is controlled within Customer Defaults in NX10 and later by going
to 'File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults -> Modeling -> General -> Edit
(tab) -> Edit Sketch Action'. Change it from the default of "Direct Edit" to
"Task Enviroment".
Now you will have the option to switch between sketches, as Direct Sketch does
not have the capability.

NX9 and earlier had the same function located in 'File -> Utilities ->
Customer Defaults -> Modeling -> General -> Miscellaneous (tab) -> Edit Sketch
Action'. Change it from the default of "Direct Edit" to "Task Enviroment".

These settings in NX9 prior releases and the new Edit tab in NX10 and later
releases along with many other settings are "Session" oriented.
To determine if a setting in Customer Defaults cotrols the users NX session or
new parts look at the right most column called "Scope" (found in the Search
(Binoculars) or Manage Current Settings (Eyeball) icons). Users must have this
set and restart NX to have these changes take effect.
