A local install of Solid Edge Requirements consumes more than 1 GB of RAM when not in use. Is this correct?
Solution
This appears to be normal memory consumption for a Polarion server which drives the Solid Edge Requirements application.
From the Polarion server installation guide:
Minimum RAM: 4 gigabytes. Recommended: 8 gigabytes or more.If you are not using Solid Edge Requirements you can shut down the following Windows services:
- "Polarion"
- "PostgreSQLPolarion"
- "Apache2POlarion"
If after stopping these services, if you then need to use Solid Edge Requirements you can then manually start the above services.
