Solid Edge On a floating installation does Data Prep tool checkout a license?

On a Solid Edge floating license installation, does the Data Preparation tool 

checkout a Solid Edge license from the server? 

No it does not. Any file accessing with the Data Preparation tool is internal 

to the file and does not graphically access the file, thus not accessing a 

Solid Edge license in a floating installation.
