NX X Sketch Emphasis does not emphasize edge of sketch plane.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a block and add a sketch on it.
2. Now perform edit with rollback on the sketch.
3. Turn ON "Sketch Emphasis" option.

     -> Sketch Emphasis does not emphasize edges of sketch plane.

Additional Info: "Work Plane Emphasis" emphasizes the edges of the sketch plane.

Why Sketch Emphasis does not emphasize edges of sketch plane?

Solution

Sketch Emphasis emphasize the sketch, not just any geometry on the XY plane.


The sketch emphasis works like feature preview emphasis, the feature is emphasized relative to the surrounding geometry. 


The edges have nothing to do with the sketch geometry, so they are dimmed.
