3D Dynamic has been used to verify the program with the "Save As Component" option enabled to save models of the IPW in new part (*.prt) files. These IPW files are created, but nothing is visible when the files are opened in NX.
Solution
The saved IPW models are placed on the same layer as the active work layer in the CAM setup that they are coming from - in this case that was layer 2. When a new part file is opened for the first time, only layer 1 is visible.
The solution is to go to the Layer Settings in the IPW part file and turn on layer 2 (or whatever layer on which the geometry resides in a given file), and the IPW body will be visible.
