NX doesn't start with borrowed license if you are using more than one license server (e.g. redundant license servers).
Borrowing is working correct but when you try to start NX with this license it will fail.
Solution
There are two possibilities in this case. If you are aware of this issue you should eliminate all unneeded entries for the license server in the NX licensing tool so that only the license server is present where you want to borrow the license from.
If this issue occurs after you have borrowed the license go to the Windows registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Siemens_PLM_Software\Common_Licensing" and modify the value for the "NX_SERVER" so that it points to only one server.
