NX X Change default part order in the Assembly Navigator Tree (ANT)

In the Assembly Navigator you can set the order of the parts shown.
How can you set the default setting for this?

Solution

In order to set this as a default, you have to change the value in the customer defaults, for the setting called: Component sort order.

You can find the setting under: Gateway --> Assembly Navigator --> Component Sort Order.
Set the option as preferred, after restarting NX, this will be the default sort order for all Assemblies.

Notes and References

Although you can manually order the assembly components for a long time, this customer defaults exists since NX 10.0.
