What's -publish_dr in tc_publishing_utility?
Solution
Considering Customer defaults setting "Publish Drawing Relations on Save" is OFF.
-Publish_dr(publish_drawing_relations) is a switch for creating drawing relations like "Drawing Of", "Drawing Using".
Steps:
o Create a Top assembly with Block feature - Save
o Create a separate Sub part with cylinder feature and Save.
o Open Top assembly, add Drawing dataset(master).
o Add Top assembly to Drawing dataset as component.
o Add a base view in Drawing part - Save
o Add a base view select Sub part and place a view -Save.
o Sub is added as reference in the Drawing part.
o Now in Teamcenter RAC Right click on TOP assembly revision - Open with - Relation Browser.
o Now in the Relation Browser TAB right click on the TOP assembly task and Show Predecessors.. - 1 Level
o Right click in the screen and fit to view the entire relations.
o Hover the cursor on the small connecting Arrows to see the relations type
o Right click on Sub assembly revision - Open with - Relation Browser
o Check for the relations type
Now run the below command on the Drawing part:
tc_publishing_utility -u=username -p=password -publish_dr=yes -part=@DB/ItemID/RevID -load_a=yes
o Now in Teamcenter RAC Right click on TOP/Sub assembly revision - Open with - Relation Browser.
o Now in the Relation Browser TAB right click on the TOP assembly task and Show Predecessors.. - 1 Level
o Hover the cursor on the small connecting Arrows to see the relations type
You would see new relations created by name "Drawing Of", "Drawing Using".
