NX X About the logic of placement of WCS with 'CSYS of Object' Type.

1. Open an irregular shape part file in NX. 
2. Menu -> Format -> WCS -> Orient. 
3. In 'Type' select "CSYS of Object" 
4. Select the face which is irregular in shape. 
[OK] the 'CSYS' dialog. 
The WCS will be placed on the face (WCS may be placed outside of the face also depending upon the shape of the face). 
 
How is the WCS placed? What is the logic of placing WCS with 'CSYS of Object' Type?

Solution

"CSYS of Object" option places the WCS at the center of the planar face bounding area.
