Summary

Details

After importing a SolidWorks (.sldprt) file, many parts/bodies are missing.

Solution

In some cases, the SolidWorks "Assembly" is created using Multi-Body technology, similar to Solid Edge.
"Outside" of Solid Edge one way for verifying would be that there is only one ".sldprt" file, instead of an assembly file (.sldasm) and mutliple part files (.sldprt).

Usually the user has to enable multi-body import in Solid Edge, because by default this is turned off.
Unfortunately this option is not shown in the import dialog, so the user has to manipulate the "SW2SE.INI" file manually.

Please make sure, that following line is included:

Import MULTI_BODY part files=1

This will add support for multi-body, and the imported part/assembly should be complete now.
