NX X Item Name in TC is cleared during Save As

Item Name in TC is cleared during Save As 

Solution

Please check the following BMIDE setting : (out of the box it is set to 
"false" in TC10.1.7) 
Please check in BMIDE the Item settings: 
Item -> Operation Descriptor -> SaveAsInput -> Object_name -> Property 
Constants -> CopyFromOriginal -> Set to True


False= display empty and use new ID as name 
True = uses orignal item name as new item name
