Details
A point is created with method "Point Between two points" by giving a existing expression to location option.
When user modifies this external expression then the point does not update which is expected in this scenario. If we try similar case with "Point On Curve" then it is working fine.
This is because currently an existing expression name can't be used for the % Location field
when a Point Between Points is being created due to conversion of the value to a percentage of 1.
Solution
One can the edit expression associated with the %Location field after the point is created and associate that expression with an existing expression.
For example, if the % Location is represented by the expression p23=0.5, you can edit p23 so that p23=test, where test is an existing expression with a value between 0 and 1.
