Colors Look Incorrect in an NX File, and How to Change Them.

Solution

Open a part file that has the wanted colors in it and do the following:

'File -> Preferences -> Color Palette -> Option (open this drop down at the
bottom of the dialog) -> (select) Save CDF As... -> Supply a name and select
location to save -> OK.'

The ".cdf" extension means "Color Definition File".

Open the file containing the bad color palette and import the newly saved good
.cdf file into the bad file to replace its colors with the good files colors.

'File -> Preferences -> Color Palette -> Option (open this drop down at the
bottom of the dialog) -> (select) Open CDF... -> OK -> select the saved .cdf
file -> OK.'

Note, this is a 'delete existing and replace' operation and cannot be restored,
unless you save the bad part file's color definition file by making a backup prior
to performing the replacement.
