Solid Edge Getting the error 'The Siemens PLM Documentation Server cannot be found' when setting up Solid Edge Help ST10 on a server?

The following error comes up  when installing the SE_Help_Collection_English_ST10.exe:

'The Siemens PLM Documentation Server cannot be found...

Solution

If you already have NX and Teamcenter Help running on the Siemens Documentation Server and need to use the same server location, you can configure Solid Edge by running the msi in a command prompt and specifying the path to the collections on the E drive installation of the Documentation Server. Solid Edge Help still installed on the C drive. After that, copy the Solid Edge Help collection to the documentation server installation on the E drive. This should allow Solid Edge Help to run.
