After creating alternate position of assembly and placing drawing view of one member on Draft Sheet.
Now we want to show the alternate position (another member) on the same view?
Solution
Use the Set Primary and Alternate Positions dialog box to show or hide assembly members in a selected alternate position assembly drawing view. If you change the member selections, you must update the view.
This dialog box is displayed when you select the Set Primary and Alternate Positions command from the shortcut menu of an alternate position assembly drawing view.
Steps:
1. Open the drawing having drawing view of Alternate assembly member.
2. Select the view > RMB (Right mouse button) click > Select 'Set Primary and Alternate Positions'
3. Check select the Member (which user wish to have drawing view placed in the drawing) as primary and deselect any check mark in Alternate column.
4. Update the drawing view.
This will define the selected member as Primary member for particular drawing view.
