Excluded a part(s) in a parts list all items get sequentially renumbered in
the parts list, which is not desired. Require gaps or voids in the numbering
wherever the excluded parts existed.
Solution
If the "Renumber items/balloons according to sort order" option is checked when parts list was created (Properties/Options tab), then all items in the parts list will get sequentially renumbered. You cannot get it back again by unchecking the box once the PL has been edited. You must have the box unchecked before making the change so that the remaining items do NOT get sequentially renumbered.
