When attepting to write out a bolt pre-load force the following message is

written:

WARNING : No bulk data cards have been written for load Bolt Pre-Load(1). This

could be the result of a subset export or the magnitude of the load

could be evaluating to 0 for all selected model objects

What causes this message in NX 12?

Solution

This message occurs when the solver version is set to something other than NX

Nastran 12. In the bolt force card changed in NX 12 from BOLTFOR to BOLTFRC.

NX 12 cannot writout the BOLTFOR card. The solutoin is to right click on the

solutoin and select Edit Solver Parameters. Set the solver version to the

default setting.
