Details
When assembly load options are set to "Any Status; No Working", then the NX custom symbols thumbnail in library will not display the thumbnails.
Steps to duplicate:
1). Start Teamcenter.
2). Start NX 11.0.2.
3). Select File-->Utility-->Customer Defaults.
4). Select GateWay-->Reuse Library.
5). Click the Symbols Library tab.
6). Under Manage Custom Symbols In, click Teamcenter.
7). Create symbol library with items in Teamcenter folder and configure NX to use custom symbol library.
In customer defaults, 'Symbol Libraries, Teamcenter Integration', type the symbol library name as shown
in the following example.
(example) GTAC Symbols|infodba:NxSymbolsGTAC
8). Click OK.
9). NX Restart.
10). Select File-->Preferences-->Assembly Load Options.
11). From the Revision Rules, choose "Any Status; No Working".
12). Click OK.
13). Make a New part file.
14). Change to drafting the application.
15). Insert a sheet of any size.
16). Select Menu--> Insert-->Symbol-->Custom Symbol.
(OR use Reuse Library resource bar and expand Custom Symbol Library > GTAC Symbols)
17). Select the library at the bottom set of "NX Custom Symbols".
Notice there are no symbols thumbnails being displayed.
Solution
Reuse library will use the Assembly Load Options as its default revision rule if not set before on Reuse Navigator.
The user can change the revision rule on reuse navigator by using following commands:
Reuse Navigator->MB3->Revision Rule->Set Revision Rule. Set it to "Latest Working".
