Check out of a Solid Edge license wtih the intent of getting a Classic license and receiving a
Premium license instead.
Solution
The setup with the use of .bat files were used to be able to choose between Classic and Premium, based on their need. The problem is that if the user used the Classic .bat file, they'd receive a Premium (if a Premium was available, a normal default with multiple product types). It was found that the .bat files and the license files for the clients were stored on the server and the clients used both from that location, instead of on each individual client...which is absolutely fine. It was found that the client license files for Classic and Premium had still been a full license with both Classic and Premium entries. For this to work the full license had to be copied twice to each client and one have only Classic entry, while the other only had the
Premium entry, for this method to work.
