NX X Cannot select another face of the same body with "WAVE geometry linker".

If you select another face of the same body with "WAVE geometry linker", a warning occurs and you cannot change the reference face.

Solution

The linked face is a face chain (Face Option) based feature, which support select multiple faces from one body. For the multiple selected faces, linked face feature wants to keep same output face reference tags. In the way, the downstream feature will get same input. 


The workaround is redefine the linked face feature by using the face option "single face". In the way, linked face know there is only one face is selected.
