How to control the default active tab in File->New dialog?
Solution
The File-> New active tab is set based on the following:
- If the last used tab name is found in the registry, then the corresponding tab is set as active.
Registry location is:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER >SOFTWARE > Unigraphics Solution > NX > 11.0 > General > FILENEW > Tab Name
- If not, the tab corresponding to the first collection is set as active (visually on File New dialog, the sequence of tabs comes from the NXFileNewDialogTabOrder.dat which is customizable).
This file is located in UGII_BASE_DIR\UGII\manifest\platform\ folder.
But there is limitation to usage of this dat file, it only works with the internal UGII template folder TABS, and not any customized ones.
