Tecnomatix I have version 13.1 of Process Simulate and cannot remove the floating toolbar in the Graphic Viewer.

Normally, the floating toolbar is selected by checking a box in Options / Graphic Viewer /
However in version 13.1, that option is not available.

Solution

Here is the work around:  First, make sure Process Simulate is not running.  Then, find the file called "features.txt" located in the Tecnomatix / eMPower folder.  Look through this file with a text editor until you find a part that looks like this:

ENERGY_OPTIMIZATION
FLY_TO_VIEWPOINT
\GRAPHIC_VIEWER_TOOLBAR
LOCATION_DISPLAY_PROTOTYPE
NAVIGATION_CUBE

The only thing you want to edit is to remove the "\" in front of the line "GRAPHIC_VIEWER_TOOLBAR".
Save the file and quit the editor.  The next time you start Process Simulate, the Graphic Toolbar will be gone.

Notes and References

Note: The commands available on the floating toolbar are not automatically replicated anywhere else in the software, so a custom tab should be created to add the necessary commands back to the user interface.
