NX X Cant "Identify gap" by crosshatch of [Point in Region] selection mode.

When creating a crosshatch in an area with gaps, can't identify gap by crosshatch of [Point in Region] selection mode.  




When clicking inside the gap, can identify gap.


When clicking outside the gap, can't identify gap.

Solution

Crosshatch's Identify Gap functionality was implemented in NX8.  It identifies gaps in the loops which are outside the anchor point.


For example, if the pick point is Anchor Point - 1 , then the gap of size 0.1 is part of the inner boundary from the perspective of the anchor point and hence will not identified. 


However if the pick point is Anchor Point - 2, then the gap is part of outer loop/boundry for the given anchor point and hence identified. 







At present, this is working as designed.
