Which VR applications and head-mounted hardware devices can be used to view the images generated using Ray Traced Studio?
The NX documentation article entitled 'Generating images for viewing in virtual reality' explains the settings required to create the images, but does not give details of the devices or applications that can be used to view the images.
Solution
There are a variety of methods to view the photosphere images generated using Ray Traced Studio VR:
The least expensive option is to use a mobile phone app like Mobile VR Station to load and view the photosphere along with a viewer like Google Cardboard, I Am Cardboard, or one of the other of low cost viewers. Make sure to generate
and set the viewer to 'stereo' to get the full immersive effects.
If you have an HTC Vive you will need an app like VR Photo Viewer to load and view the image with your HTC Vive set.
