Details
Customer is unable to connect Teamcenter from Plant Simulation.
The Teamcenter version is Teamcenter 10.1.6.1_a01_7
Plant Simulation Version is : 14.0
It is giving error : "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
Solution
This is an issue in the TC SOA, where TC V11.2 SOA does not have full backward
compatibility to TC10.1.6 a01_7.
Plant Simulation v13.1 still uses TC10.1.x SOA, Plant Simulation v13.2 and
higher use TC 11.2 SOA.
The Siemens PLM Integration Matrix document backs up this assertion, showing
supported versions of Teamcenter referenced against the Plant Simulation
versions.
The only "fix" can be to use Plant Simulation v13.0 or v13.1 with TC 10.1.6 -
Load the latest patch released for either version.
