In holemaking, a countersink operation will drive the tool to create a countersink on the part even if the chamfer is not modeled. How does NX determine the depth and diameter of this countersink?
Solution
If there is no countersink modeled, NX uses a default constant value added to the hole diameter to determine the countersink diameter. The software adds 2mm for metric parts and 0.050" for inch parts.
