NX X Barcode font sent to DXF is not recognized

The NX Barcode font is not recognized by the DXF translator.

Solution

A mapping file can be used to map the NX Barcode font to the equivalent AutoCAD font.

If the AutoCAD font name is not known, the following workaround can be used.

1. Select 'File-->Export-->CGM' to export a CGM file with the Text Output option set to 'Polylines'.
2. Import the CGM file back into an empty NX file. 
3. Export this newly created file as a DXF file. 

The DXF file will open in AutoCAD and it will look correct, but it will not have any font information.
