Details
Unable to get Local Standard Parts running. Get no information in the
Configuration Wizard and also would get a missing GUID database error when
trying to save the Configuration Wizard after pointing to and populating.
Solution
Originally removed everything including SQL Express and Standard Parts and
could not get it to load or run correctly . After removing the SQL Express
and the Standard Parts Administrator there were still some residual SQL Express
leftovers located on the machine.
With everything removed, go to:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.SQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\DATA
and delete the following:
xCP_localGUIDdb95.mdf
xCP_localGUIDdb95_log.ldf
xse110_StandardParts110.mdf
xse110_StandardParts110_log.ldf
Once these are deleted, you should be able to load SQL Express without errors and
also the Standard Parts Administrator successfully.
