There is an assembly with 2 components. Different material is assigned to the
solid bodies in their component part files. 2 Linked Body features have been
created on these component bodies in the assembly part file. Unite is
performed on the 2 linked bodies.
Measure Body Mass value on this resulting body does not change when the
assigned material for one of the components are changed.
Why is that?
One single solid body in NX can only have one density. So when you unite 2
linked bodies with different density only one of the densities will be used
and that will be the density of the Target body.
