Why is the "Adams Solver Input File" Export option unavailable (greyed out)
for Simcenter Motion 11 or 12 users? What options are available to export a
file from Simcenter Motion to import into Adams View?
Solution
The "Adams Solver Input File" export option is only available for some
academic licenses that have the Adams solver for Simcenter Motion. The
Recurdyn "ADM" translator should be used in lieu of the "Adams Solver Input
File" translator. The "Adams Solver Input File" translator generates an ANL,
CMD, and TXT file. The "ADM" translator generates an ADM, CMD, and TXT file.
When importing the CMD file into Adams View, both sets of files will produce
the same result.
