Details
The user changed the size and the position of the Solid Edge window after using the "Restore" icon at the top right of the session window. After exiting and restarting Solid Edge the user noticed that the application remembers and keeps the previously defined size and positon. This prompted the question - where this size and position is stored?
Solution
Open the "Registry Editor" by executing the regedit.exe command and locate the following folder.
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 110\General\Position
This folder contains the following words (meaning):
Height (the height* of the window)
Left (the distance* of the window to the left border of the screen)
Show (0 documents a restored, 1 a minimized and 2 a maximized window)
Top (the distance* of the window to the top border of the screen)
Width (the width* of the window)
* the value within the round brackets in the column "Data" defines the picture elements (pixel)
