Retain Density When Translating Data to a Neutral Format.
Solution
IGES and STEP are not currently supported by Siemens PLM to retain Density.
Parasolid and JT data files keep Density.
When exporting data, if the receiving software does not have Parasolid import available, then we recommend using the JT format, as it is now an Industry Standard.
High Quality JT files can export and import solid body information as
accurately as the original Parasolid body and retain the density that was assigned
within NX.
