How to open an existing analysis file (created before NX v11 version)  with resolution "Medium" ?

Solution

 When migrating a FEM part from earlier releases of NX, the property on all polygon bodies existing in the model is defaulted to Standard resolution.

Once the polygon body is recreated in a Simcenter 11.0 or later release, the body resolution is accurate.
